Sentara RMH Medical Center in Harrisonburg, VA seeks a Registered Nurse for the Behavioral Health unit. The role focuses on patients with depression, suicidal ideation, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and detox patients, providing compassionate, evidence-based care.

The RN will use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. A nursing license and an associate or bachelor degree in nursing are required or preferred, with prior acute care experience welcomed.

Formación

• Associates degree in nursing or Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Current RN license or licensure to practice nursing.
• Acute care experience preferred, but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process with critical thinking.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the Behavioral Health unit.
• Collaborate with care teams to support patients with depression, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, withdrawal and detox needs.
