• Associate's Degree (essential)
• 2+ years related experience (required)
• Current Arizona state or compact state licensure as an RN

Responsibilities

• Patient Care & Clinical Assessment: Performs comprehensive psychiatric nursing assessments and plans of care; monitors safety and behavior; updates nursing care plans.
• Medication Administration & Clinical Management: Administers psychotropic and PRN meds per orders; monitors effects and side effects; documents responses.
• Therapeutic Engagement & Crisis Intervention: Uses trauma-informed communication; leads de‑escalation and crisis intervention; supports groups and psychoeducation.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensures patient safety, observation, and milieu management; adheres to CMS/DNV/state requirements; documents safety measures.
• Collaboration & Communication: Provides leadership to LPNs/BHTs; collaborates with psychiatrists and therapy staff; participates in care planning and discharge planning.
• Professionalism & Accountability: Maintains high standards of care, participates in quality initiatives and staff development; supports patient flow and admissions/discharges.
