Job summary

Onvida Health currently seeks a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse II (RN II) for the Night shift in a 72-hour biweekly schedule in an acute inpatient behavioral health unit in Yuma, AZ. The RN II will conduct initial and ongoing psychiatric assessments, administer medications, support crisis stabilization, and lead the unit with a focus on safety and recovery-oriented care.

Essential duties include nursing care planning, medication administration, trauma-informed engagement, and collaboration

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required.
• RN license required.
• BLS certification required.
• Other credentials as required by department.

Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive psychiatric nursing assessments and plan of care.
• Administers psychotropic and PRN medications with documentation.
• Leads de-escalation and crisis intervention.
• Ensures patient safety and compliance with CMS/DNV/state requirements.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team for care planning and discharge.
