Job summary

AccentCare, Inc. is seeking a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse, Home Health, in Fort Worth, TX.

This full-time RN Psych role covers Fort Worth and surrounding areas, focusing on psychiatric/home health care with per-visit compensation and annual target ranges dependent on experience. The position requires a current RN license and psychiatric nursing experience, CPR certification, and a valid driver's license with auto insurance.

Qualifications

• Current State RN license with nursing degree and recent psychiatric/mental health experience.
• Diploma or AA degree in nursing with at least 2 years recent nursing experience in psychiatric/mental health home care or related setting.
• Baccalaureate in nursing with at least one-year recent nursing experience in psychiatric/mental health home care or related setting.
• Master’s degree in psychiatric or mental health nursing with at least one-year recent nursing experience in psychiatric/mental health home care or related setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess nursing needs and provide direct care and case management.
• Make initial assessment and reassessment visits.
• Inform physician of assessment results and recommended interventions.
• Notify changes in patient condition to physician and team.
• Document and submit assessment, progress and discharge notes timely.
• Manage medicines, evaluate for adverse effects and interactions.
• Instruct on medication regimens and administer IM medications.
• Manage crises and psycho-biological interventions.
