• Chronic Diagnosis/Intensive Treatment Unit: Nurses on these units work as a team to create structure to help the sickest patients in their moments of need, improving de-escalation and understanding of factors affecting behavior.
• Geriatric Unit: Nurses in this unit blend clinical skill with behavioral interventions for behavioral health patients with depressive disorders, bipolar or schizophrenia in aging patients with comorbidities.
• General Inpatient Psychiatric Units: Nurses implement evidence-based practice and trauma-informed care to support individuals facing major depressive disorder, anxiety, alcohol or substance detoxification, and postpartum depression.
