Baptist Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join the Behavioral Health Unit at Wolfson Children’s Hospital in Downtown, Jacksonville. This is a full-time day shift position designed to provide compassionate, patient-centered care.

The RN will utilize the nursing process, collaborate with the care team, and educate patients and families about treatment plans, with essential certifications including BLS, ACLS, and PALS as required. A level II background screening is required.

Qualificações

• Active RN license required.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• PALS within 12 months of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Provides for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement.
• Organization and supervision of care provided by supportive personnel.
• Coordination of care provided by ancillary services
• Including patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care
• Education of patients/SO/families to their disease process and plan of care
• Serves as patient advocate and responsible for providing care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition, including chronic medical and minor injuries or illnesses.
