Job summary

Saint Clare's Health is seeking registered nurses to provide comprehensive patient care in a full-time daytime role at our New Jersey facilities. Responsibilities include treating patients, educating on conditions, and supporting emotional well-being for patients and families across inpatient and outpatient behavioral health services.

The RN must hold a current state license, maintain BLS, and apply knowledge of mental health laws and care processes to coordinate with the interdisciplinary team

Qualifications

• Must have current and valid State license as a Registered Nurse.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Working knowledge of Mental Health Laws and practice standards.
• Working knowledge of interdisciplinary treatment team process, behavioral health programming and daily nursing functions for inpatient and outpatient behavioral health units.
• Working knowledge of the continuum of care for behavioral health care.

Responsibilities

• RNs treat patients and provide education on mental and medical conditions.
• Provide advice and emotional support to patients and families.
• Administer treatment and medications and assist with follow-up care.
• Operate medical machinery and document patient history and results.
• Support rehabilitation and patient education on illness management.
