Job summary

UP Health System - Marquette is a Lifepoint Health facility seeking a Registered Nurse for our Behavioral Health Unit. The role offers 64 hours per pay period across 8-hour day shifts with rotating weekends and holidays.

We provide a $7,500 sign-on bonus for qualified applicants and a collaborative team environment focused on patient outcomes and safety. Michigan licensure and BLS-HCP are required; ACLS within 90 days is expected.

Qualifications

• Current Michigan RN license is required.
• Associate's degree in nursing; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• BLS-HCP certification required; ACLS within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Performs plan of care interventions including medication administration and clinical treatments.
• Documents patient care provided accurately.
• Monitors and communicates patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Collaborates across disciplines for transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial support.
• Educates patient and family in age- and culture-appropriate care.
• Advocates for the patient’s physical and emotional well-being.
