Job summary

Thevineshospital is seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Nurse (RN) in Ocala, Florida, to provide exceptional mental health care. The RN will assess patients’ psychiatric needs, administer medication, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. This role requires excellent communication skills and a minimum of an Associate degree in Nursing, with new graduates welcome. Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years experience in the mental health field preferred.
• Licensed in the State of Florida as a Registered Nurse required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive psychiatric nursing care to patients.
• Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
• Educate patients and families about mental health conditions and treatment options.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Participate in crisis intervention as needed.
