Job summary
The Vines Hospital in Ocala, FL is seeking a Psychiatric Registered Nurse to join our behavioral health team. The RN participates in assessment, treatment planning, medication administration, crisis intervention, and milieu management as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications
- Associates degree in Nursing required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
- Minimum of two years of experience in the mental health field preferred.
- Licensed in the State of Florida as a Registered Nurse required.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to relate to those emotionally disturbed and in crisis.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive psychiatric nursing care to patients.
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Educate patients and families about mental health conditions and treatment options.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
- Participate in crisis intervention as needed.
- Uphold compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.
