Job summary

Hope Network in Flint, MI is seeking a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate psychiatric and medical nursing care across assigned programs. You’ll partner with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate individualized care and support medication management.

This role emphasizes recovery-oriented, trauma-informed and person-centered approaches, with on-call hours and a Monday–Friday schedule, plus nights, weekends or holidays as assigned.

Qualifications

• Active Michigan RN license in good standing.
• Experience in recovery-oriented behavioral health care.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric and medical nursing care across programs.
• Coordinate care with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary teams.
• Support medication management, monitoring effectiveness and concerns.
• Assess changes in physical and behavioral health needs.
• Deliver nursing interventions, education, follow-up, and support.
• Build trusting relationships to promote recovery and wellness.
• Apply trauma-informed, culturally responsive, person-centered care.
• Collaborate with families and partners to support continuity of care.
• Maintain timely clinical documentation and notify care team of changes.
• Advocate for access to medical and psychiatric services.
