Job summary

True North Recovery Inc. in Wasilla, Alaska is seeking a registered nurse to support medical providers and deliver compassionate care within our behavioral health system.

You will administer medications, perform screenings, and collaborate with the clinical team to develop and evaluate care plans for adults with addiction and mental health needs. This full-time role requires Alaska RN license, ADN/BSN, CPR, and EMR experience.

Qualifications

• ADN or BSN from an accredited program.
• Current Alaska RN license.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
• Experience with EMR/EHR systems and addiction care a plus.

Responsibilities

• Use the nursing process to safely care for patients.
• Utilize CIWA, COWS, PAWS, pain and suicide screening tools.
• Implement and evaluate care plans with the clinical team.
• Collaborate with medical providers to assess patient needs.
• Administer prescribed medications and therapeutic interventions.
• Develop relationships with community partner agencies.
• Maintain ongoing training and continuing education.
• Document care and billing in the EHR.
• Maintain TNR culture and standards.
