Job summary

Universal Health Services is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) at Summit Oaks Hospital in New Jersey. The role is a full-time 7am–7pm schedule, three days per week totaling 36 hours. A $12,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Responsibilities include assessing patients, administering meds, safety checks, and documenting patient status under the treatment team guidance. The position requires New Jersey RN licensure; BSN preferred, with psychiatric nursing experience or leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Current New Jersey RN licensure; BSN/BS preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of psychiatric nursing experience, or 2 years of medical/surgical with leadership and strong clinical skills.
• Graduate of NLN accredited program preferred.
• ANA Psychiatric Nursing certification preferred.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and respond to medical needs of patients under physicians guidance.
• Conduct safety checks and implement behavioral management techniques.
• Monitor, report, and document patient behaviors and well being.
• Administer medications and treatments under treatment team guidance.
• Maintain the core values and mission of Summit Oaks Hospital.
