Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent and hands-on billing experience.
• 1 year of medical billing or revenue cycle experience.
• Customer service or client-facing experience.
• Understanding of insurance billing and therapy reimbursement.
• Knowledge of AR follow-up, denials, and appeals.
• Strong communication and detail orientation.

Responsibilities

• Submit, review, correct, and process denied, rejected, and unpaid insurance and healthcare claims with accuracy and timely resolution.
• Research and resolve claim issues by identifying root causes and collaborating with stakeholders.
• Prioritize and manage a high-volume workload based on age, complexity, and urgency.
• Own the accounts receivable process for assigned accounts and monitor performance with analytics.
• Provide proactive account management and exceptional service with clinicians and practice owners.
• Build trusted relationships through meetings and ongoing communication.
• Identify trends and reimbursement challenges and suggest process improvements.
• Utilize tools to streamline workflows and support data-driven decisions.
