Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with Arizona behavioral health system, behavioral health network operations, and community-based treatment resources.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (particularly Excel) and electronic documentation systems.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time within Arizona.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate referrals and admissions for out-of-home behavioral health residential treatment.
• Identify clinically appropriate participating residential treatment providers to support treatment goals.
• Manage the residential referral process and maintain documentation of facility activities.
• Collaborate with behavioral health homes, treating providers, and community partners to ensure timely submission of clinical information.
• Monitor referral status and facility timelines to promote timely access to care.
• Serve as primary contact for residential treatment providers and internal stakeholders.
• Respond quickly to facility disruptions, denials, or changes in member circumstances with alternative options.
• Participate in utilization management rounds and interdisciplinary case reviews.
• Facilitate meetings with residential providers to improve facilities and collaboration.
• Partner with Care Management, Utilization Management, and Quality Management to support continuity of care.
• Identify and address concerns with leadership and maintain accurate case records.
• Support departmental projects, reporting activities, and other operational initiatives.
