Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Behavioral Health Residential Coordinator to support admissions for out-of-home residential treatment. You will coordinate referrals, identify appropriate providers, and maintain accurate documentation to ensure timely, quality care.

This role requires strong clinical knowledge, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate with behavioral health homes, providers, and internal teams across the care continuum. Travel within the region is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Arizona behavioral health system and related operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and electronic documentation systems.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time within Arizona.
• Resides in Arizona or nearby with ability to work within the region.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate residential treatment referrals and admissions for out-of-home behavioral health residential treatment across multiple levels of care.
• Identify clinically appropriate participating residential treatment providers to support treatment goals.
• Manage the residential referral process, track responses, and document facility activities.
• Collaborate with behavioral health homes, treating providers, and community partners for timely submission of clinical info.
• Monitor referral status and timelines to promote timely access to care and minimize delays.
• Serve as primary contact for residential providers and internal stakeholders regarding coordination needs.
• Respond urgently to disruptions, denials, or changes by coordinating alternatives.
• Participate in utilization management rounds and case reviews; present member cases for discussion.
