Prince William County Community Services seeks an experienced Reimbursement Team Lead to guide the behavioral health revenue cycle, ensuring accurate billing, timely collections, and compliance with federal/state regulations.

The role supervises reimbursement professionals, coordinates daily workflows, and drives optimized reimbursement for outpatient and rehabilitative services in a large community health setting.

Qualifications

• 5 years of related experience in behavioral healthcare insurance billing, posting, collection, and revenue cycle.
• Strong knowledge of Medicaid/Medicare and commercial payer processes.
• Ability to supervise and mentor staff and improve workflows.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and mentor a team of reimbursement professionals and coordinate staffing.
• Plan, prioritize, and assign work to ensure timely, accurate billing, posting, and collections.
• Oversee billing operations: coding, charge entry, claims submission, payment posting, AR management, denials.
• Manage daily electronic payment imports into the EHR and reconciliations.
• Coordinate electronic payments and 835s from clearinghouses and portals.
