Behavioral Health RN Pay:
- $60/hour.
- $90/hour OT.
- Local and travel pay packages available.
- Plus travel bonus to assignment if eligible.

Behavioral Health RN Position Details:

- 16-week direct contract with a high potential to extend.

- 32 hours per week with the potential to pick up OT.
- 8-hour day, evening, and night shifts available to choose from.
- Evening shift: 3pm - 11:30pm.
- Night shift: 11pm - 7:30am.
Behavioral Health RN Job Details:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients.
- Carry out all steps of the nursing process while involving the patient/family and other members of the care team to help patients meet expected outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the supervising provider.
- Maintain accurate health records using our electronic health record system.
- Organize and provide education in our counseling and support programs.
- Provide culturally competent care that comprehensively considers the physiological, psychological, and spiritual aspects of health.
Behavioral Health RN Requirements:
- Active CT RN License.
- Active BLS.
- At least 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in a psychiatric, behavioral health, or adolescent care setting.
- Previous experience working in an adolescent treatment or residential care setting. (preferred)
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care practices and crisis intervention. (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of adolescent health, mental health disorders, and substance abuse.
- Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing quality care for adolescents.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists, physicians, and family members.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of patients and the facility.
