Qualifications

• Current Texas RN license and BLS certification.
• CPI training within 30 days of hire; good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Promotes the facility mission, vision and values and communicates them to others.
• Adheres to Nurse Practice Act and ANA Standards of Clinical Nursing Practice.
• Administers medications and therapies within the scope of safe nursing practice.
• Transcribes and implements physician orders; assists with admissions/discharges.
• Maintains accurate records and provides education to patients and significant others.
