Job summary

Telecare seeks a Recovery Specialist Supervisor to oversee a team delivering direct care on assigned shifts in a behavioral health setting.

The role requires inpatient MH experience, leadership skills, and certification in CPR/CPI/First Aid with strong documentation and communication abilities.

Shifts include day and night with wage differentials. Compliance with state credentials and regulatory checks is essential to joining Telecare’s team.

Qualifications

• Requires BA/BS in behavioral sciences with two years inpatient experience OR high school diploma with one year as Lead Recovery Specialist II with three years inpatient experience.
• Washington State Agency Affiliated Counselor credential is required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be CPR, CPI, and First Aid certified or certified within 60 days of employment.
• Post-offer physicals, TB test, background clearance and driving/insurance requirements apply.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff with timely feedback, coaching and performance reviews.
• Partner with Clinical Director/Director of Nursing to create and deliver trainings and ensure skill development.
• On-board new team members and ensure core competencies are met.
• Ensure clear shift reports, logs and communications for high performance.
• Participate in hiring with guidance from Clinical Director and Program Administrator.
• Attend multidisciplinary meetings and treatment planning sessions.
• Document client activities and maintain safety and crisis prevention procedures.
• Provide leadership for program groups and community meetings.
