Job summary

Malvern Behavioral Health seeks a full-time Director of Quality and Risk Management at our South Philadelphia location. The role oversees PI and RM programs, drives regulatory readiness, and coordinates committees and incident investigations. Bachelor’s degree and healthcare quality/risk experience required.

Responsibilities include audits, root cause analyses, policy updates, and staff training. Travel up to 25% may be required; benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, PTO, and a 401K

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• At least 3 years healthcare experience in quality and/or risk management.
• Knowledge of MS Office and Excel.
• Experience with The Joint Commission on Accreditation preferred.
• Experience with Children/Adolescents preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the facility in Performance Improvement and Risk Management programs.
• Complete external questionnaires for regulatory, accreditation, and licensing.
• Direct inspections by licensing agencies and surveyors; assist in plans of correction.
• Monitor ongoing compliance through audits.
• Perform Root Cause and Success Cause Analysis.
• Coordinate Medical Executive and Safety Committees.
• Coordinate response to patient complaints.
• Update changes to the P&P manual.
• Oversee investigation and reporting after incidents or serious events.
• Oversee the Peer Review process.
• Maintain PI and RM files; provide regulatory and safety training.
• May work off shifts as needed.
