Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC is seeking a Behavioral Health Qualified Professional (QP) for PRN/Regular hours in North Carolina. Provides support to individuals with mental health and substance use needs in home, school, workplace and community settings, using strength-based approaches to promote recovery and higher functioning.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services with 2+ years of experience (or other degrees with 4+ years) and may involve collaboration with families, guardians,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (in Human Services) with 2+ years full-time experience with population served.
• Bachelor’s degree (Not Human Services field) with 4+ years full-time experience with population served.
• Master’s Degree or higher with 1+ years full-time experience with population served.
• License, Provisional License, Certificate, Registration, Permit issued by governing board regulating human service profession.

Responsibilities

• Provides support to individuals with mental health and/or substance use issues in home, school, workplace and community settings.
• Focus is on assisting individuals with living independently with interventions that are strength-based and focused on promoting recovery and improved quality of life.
• Facilitating relationships and serving as a link between individuals served, families, guardians, local agencies and the community.
• Minimizing the negative effects of psychiatric symptoms or substance dependence that interfere with daily living and personal development.
• Performing case management and coordinating services and referrals; working with clinical staff to ensure smooth service delivery.
