Job summary

Dedicated Care Health Services, based in Washington, DC, is seeking a Psychotherapist/Counselor to provide outpatient behavioral rehabilitation to mentally ill individuals. The role focuses on fostering creativity and emotional growth through person-centered care.

Qualified candidates will hold a relevant degree and be licensed in DC. They must have experience with mental health disorders and be effective communicators capable of working within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Licensed in the District of Columbia as a LICSW, RN, APRN or LPC is required.
• At least two years of experience working with individuals diagnosed with a mental health disorder.
• Ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team within an outpatient mental health agency.

Responsibilities

• Manage workload using centralized scheduling.
• Conduct screening and assessment using validated tools.
• Develop treatment plans in collaboration with clients and stakeholders.
• Coordinate care with psychiatrists and administrative staff.
• Monitor risk and utilize management protocols for high-risk clients.
