Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

Provides direct mental health clinical treatment to a variety of individuals which may include children/adolescents, adults and geriatric.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Provides evaluation/problem identification, crisis interventions, individual and/or group therapy to clients
  2. Develops, monitors, and follow up of client case management treatment plans
  3. Collaborates with other Centennial services providers to engage clients in care
  4. Works with psychiatrist or medical team when client is in need of medications
  5. Coordinates client use of additional Centennial programs and outside community resources
  6. Provide services in a variety of settings
  7. Serve on emergency rotation schedule to provide 24 hour on-call services to emergent situations
  8. Maintain accurate and timely clinical records consistent with Center and industry standards
  9. Participates in meetings and in services
  10. Participates in supervision sessions
  11. Performs other job duties as assigned

PAY RANGE & STIPENDS:

  1. $55,600 - $69,500/yr (candidate position) or $64,500 - $80,633/yr (licensed position)
  2. Additional In-Person Annual Stipend available for (2 or more days per week in person) positions of $1,200
  3. Additional In-Person County Annual Stipend available for designated locations (Akron, CO/Burlington, CO/Cheyenne Wells, CO/Holyoke, CO/Julesburg, CO/Limon, CO/Wray, CO/Yuma, CO) of $5,000

EDUCATION:

Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or other Human Services Field

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS:

  1. Registered in the State of Colorado as a Candidate
  2. Active License in the State of Colorado as a LPC, LMFT or LCSW (licensed position only)
  3. Dual Licensure in the State of Colorado as a Licensed Addictions Counselor (LAC/ACD) preferred

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:

  1. Ability to work well with special populations along with maintaining appropriate boundaries
  2. Knowledge of methods of psychotherapy
  3. Able to identify and nurture strengths and support client rights to make independent decisions
  4. Skill to serve culturally diverse populations that may have a bearing on service provision
  5. Effective written and verbal communication skills
  6. Familiar with the DSM and diagnostic techniques.
  7. Demonstrates effective time management and the ability to multi-task
  8. Ability to work as a team member
  9. Knowledge of basic computer literacy such as e-mail communication and word processing
  10. Ability to work flexible and on-call hours, which may be required
  11. Ability to travel within the Center’s service area or to other locations as needed
  12. Multi-Lingual verbal and written fluency, preferred
  13. Experience with communication tools for hearing-impaired clients (e.g., ASL, captioning technologies) preferred
