Akua Behavioral Health Inc in California is seeking a Program Manager to lead a certified Residential Treatment Program. The role oversees staffing, training, compliance, and client care delivery, ensuring programs stay licensed, accredited, and compliant while maintaining high-quality services.

The position is full-time, exempt, with base salary around $90k and performance bonus up to $26k per year, for a total up to $116k annually.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field with 24 credit hours in specified subjects.
• Two years of relevant mental health work, with one year supervising staff, or four years direct service with supervision.
• Licensure/credentials preferred: LADC, LMFT, LPCC, LCSW or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Training and accountability of program staff; ensure daily functions are performed.
• Staffing and scheduling to maintain coverage on all shifts and timekeeping.
• Ensure compliance with policies, licensing, accreditation; maintain good standing.
• Employee management including hiring, interviewing, discipline and terminations.
• Emergency management and prompt resolution of client issues.
• Monitor program metrics and budgeting to control costs.
