Job summary

Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock is seeking a seasoned Behavioral Health leader for the CC013125 service. This full-time, day-shift role provides executive oversight of clinical management and staff, ensuring regulatory compliance and efficient service operations across a multi-provider clinic.

You will hire, coach and evaluate staff, drive quality and safety initiatives, and partner with leadership to align patient care with organizational goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Bachelor's Degree recommended.
• 5 years of relevant experience with HS/GED; or 7 years of experience in lieu of a HS Diploma/GED.
• Leadership experience: 4 years of progressively responsible leadership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership, management, direction, training and guidance for staff and day-to-day clinic/service operations.
• Ensures compliance with all regulatory agencies governing health care delivery and rules of accrediting bodies by continually monitoring the service and facility operations and programs and initiating required changes or improvements.
• Uses project management skills to establish and maintain project timelines and monitor progress; suggests and recommends innovative alternative solutions for problems increasing patient safety and quality outcomes.
• Hires, directs, coaches and monitors the performance of all direct reports, to develop and maintain a high performance team that meets organizational and department goals.
• Manages performance by assessing competency and providing constructive feedback for annual performance evaluations.
• Role models professional growth and continuous development through participation in professional seminars, workshops, and affiliations keeping abreast of latest trends in field of expertise.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
