Job summary

Roxborough Memorial Hospital seeks a Director of Behavioral Health who is a Registered Nurse to assume 24-hour administrative responsibility for the Behavioral Health Program. This role supervises, assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the delivery of patient care, and develops programmatic plans including performance improvement activities and compliance with current regulations.

Qualifications

• Current PA RN license required.
• BSN required; MSN preferred; with minimum 2 years’ experience in psychiatric nursing.
• Minimum of two years management experience with Behavioral Health programs.
• BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and must maintain current.
• Working knowledge of mental health laws and practice standards.
• Knowledge of continuum of care for behavioral health treatment.

Responsibilities

• Assumes 24-hour administrative responsibility for the Behavioral Health Program.
• Supervises, assesses, plans, implements and evaluates patient care delivery.
• Develops and implements programmatic plans, including performance improvement activities and regulatory compliance.
• Supervises and evaluates all personnel assigned to Behavioral Health programs and utilizes employee resources effectively.
• Directly accountable to the CNO/Administrator/CEO.
