Job summary

Volunteers of America Western Washington seeks a full-time Finance position to support Behavioral Health programs. The role manages program budgets, contract invoicing, and payroll allocation, ensuring GAAP conformity and funding compliance.

The candidate will collaborate with program leadership and payroll to maintain accurate financial records and timely reporting, contributing to sustainability of behavioral health services in Western Washington.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Accounting, Business, or related field with at least one year of financial/budgeting experience
• Knowledge of general financial accounting and cost accounting required
• Knowledge of Federal Grant Compliance (Uniform Grant Guidance) preferred
• Computer skills in Microsoft Office (Excel)

Responsibilities

• Prepare, monitor, and reconcile program budgets and contracts in line with funding and GAAP.
• Perform monthly contract invoicing and related financial reporting.
• Coordinate payroll and labor allocation activities for Behavioral Health programs and ensure accurate coding.
