Job summary
Wyoming State Hospital is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to provide clinical pharmacy services in an inpatient behavioral health setting. You will be a key consultant, supervise technicians, and mentor pharmacy students while ensuring safe compounding and dispensing and collaboration with providers to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy and Wyoming licensure or eligibility.
- 1–3 years of progressive work experience in pharmacy.
- Strong knowledge of clinical pharmacy principles, safety, and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, dispense, and compound medications following policy and regulations.
- Validate prescriber orders, monitor interactions, and ensure safe dosing.
- Review patient profiles and advise on therapy optimization with the care team.
- Maintain records for controlled substances and oversee inventory.
- Provide clinical expertise to professionals, students, and state programs.
- Support program development for the Office of Pharmacy Services.
- Participate in drug reviews and evaluate evidence for cost-effective prescribing.
- Offer information to state agencies and groups on pharmacy issues.
- Ensure care meets safety, effectiveness, and patient-rights standards.
