Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL is hiring an Office Specialist I for the Behavioral Health Outpatient Department. This full-time day role (8:30am–5:00pm) supports accurate patient registration and demographic/insurance updates at the Baptist South campus.

The ideal candidate will multitask, communicate clearly in writing and verbally, and maintain organized records while delivering service to patients and the health system.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years Front Desk Experience
• Experience working in a Medical Office
• High School Diploma (required)
• Associate of Arts/Science (preferred)

Responsabilités

• Providing business services for patients and the healthcare system.
• Ensuring accurate patient registration.
• Posting patient charges and payments.
• Operating a multi-line phone system while maintaining telephone protocols.
• Assisting patients as needed.
