Job summary

North Mississippi Health Services is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide routine patient care and support within an assigned unit. You will assist with daily living activities and coordinate care under the guidance of a Registered Nurse.

The role includes helping with admissions, discharges, transfers, and responding to patient needs while maintaining a compassionate and professional environment for patients, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• Performs routine patient care tasks under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Assists with activities of daily living and with the patient plan of care.
• Coordinates daily patient care activities on the nursing unit.
• Assists with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Responds to patient call lights/requests and relays information as needed.
• Assists patients with feeding and meeting nutritional needs.
