Job summary

ViaQuest Psychiatric & Behavioral Solutions in Columbus seeks a registered nurse to support behavioral health patients. You will assess, administer medications, monitor vital signs, and collaborate with the care team to ensure compassionate, evidence-based care.

Travel within the service area is required. The role offers full-time benefits, including medical, vision, dental, disability and life insurance, plus a 401k and a monthly productivity incentive bonus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license.
• Experience in psychiatric, mental and behavioral health services.
• Willingness to travel throughout assigned service area.
• Preferably experience with developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Address behavioral and physical health needs of clients with psychiatric symptoms.
• Perform health care screenings and check vital signs.
• Administer injections and other medications as needed.
• Monitor and administer medication.
• Educate clients on pharmaceuticals.
• Gather client information and history from the Nurse Practitioner.
• Case management and coordination of community services.
• Assist clients in building skills in emotion, stress, and anger management, communication, and relationships.
