Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking a Patient Care Nurse Assistant (PCNA) for the 5 South-Marymount Hospital unit in Garfield Heights. The role supports adult medical-surgical patients on a telemetry unit, working night shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.

with rotating weekends and holidays. As part of the Marymount Hospital team, you will perform direct patient care under an RN, assist with activities of daily living, and contribute to a compassionate, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association within the new hire period.
• Nursing students: BLS through AHA or American Red Cross prior to hire.
• Nursing students with 1 clinical rotation may substitute rotation for experience.
• Proficient in applied mathematics and reading comprehension.

Responsibilities

• Provide or assist with patient care under RN supervision (vital signs, weight, ADLs, transfers).
• Report abnormal findings or changes to an RN.
• Keep patients' rooms clean and orderly.
