Job summary

Providence St. Joseph Hospital in Orange, CA is seeking a Social Worker with an MSW for a full-time Day shift to support Behavioral Health Services.

You will plan treatment using psychiatric and chemical dependency knowledge and lead group and individual therapy sessions for patients. Requires MSW (or related field) with clinical oversight, plus MAB training; one year of hospital-based acute psychiatric experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field with clinical oversight to be provided by a licensed professional.
• MAB training provided on an ongoing basis by the Hospital.
• Experience with the Office of Patients Rights and related requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plans treatment using knowledge of psychiatric and chemical dependency care and community resources.
• Organizes and leads groups and individual therapy sessions for Behavioral Health Services patients.
