Job summary

Northcoast Behavioral Healthcare in Northfield, OH is seeking a Permanent Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to administer medications and provide direct patient care. You will work with a multi-disciplinary team, taking vital signs, escorting patients, and supporting group activities.

Qualifications

• Valid licensed practical nurse (LPN) license in Ohio.
• Completion of an approved medication administration course.
• Experience with nursing care in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers controlled and non-controlled medications.
• Provide general nursing and direct patient care.
• Take patients' vital signs as directed.
• Escort patients as needed.
• Facilitate group activities.
• Serve as a member of the multi-disciplinary team.
• Support and direct lower-level nursing staff.
• Attend and participate in active treatment groups and meetings.
• Observe, document, and report patient conditions.
