Job summary

Oceans Healthcare is partnering with Norman Regional Health System to expand behavioral health services in south central Oklahoma. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide nursing care for adult and geriatric patients in a new 48-bed behavioral health center.

Responsibilities include delivering quality nursing care, documenting findings, administering medications, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team under RN supervision.

Qualifications

• Current LVN/LPN license in the state of employment.
• Compact licenses acceptable where applicable.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year inpatient hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers quality nursing care to assigned patients under supervision.
• Documents findings in the patient record and communicates outcomes.
• Administers medications following physician orders and safety standards.
• Assists with ADLs and patient comfort and safety.
• Provides leadership and precepts new staff as needed.
