Job summary

NOVA Behavioral Health, Inc. in Dayton, OH is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our residential treatment team on the 2nd and 3rd shifts. The LPN will deliver nursing care, administer medications, monitor health status, and support both acute and chronic conditions.

This role requires an Ohio LPN license, CPR/First Aid certification, and strong documentation in the electronic health record. English communication, teamwork, and compassionate patient care are essential to promote safety

Qualifications

• Current Ohio License as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
• Behavioral Health or residential treatment experience is preferred.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, organizational and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and administer medications and treatments.
• Monitor clients for changes in physical, behavioral, or mental health status.
• Respond to medical concerns and emergencies.
• Complete accurate nursing and medication documentation in the EHR.
• Collaborate with treatment team to maintain a safe, supportive environment.
• Complete all assigned nursing and shift responsibilities before end of shift.
