Job summary

Third Street Family in Kentucky seeks motivated Social Work students for a Behavioral Health Student Intern role. This position offers critical hands-on clinical training within a community-based healthcare setting, allowing BSW and MSW students to meet their practicum requirements.

Interns will work under supervision, providing client assessments, treatment planning, and maintaining ethical practices. The opportunity also includes exposure to therapeutic services and community outreach, aiming to enrich professional skills and knowledge in behavioral health.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited BSW or MSW Social Work program and completing required field placement or practicum hours toward licensure.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain professionalism and ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client services under supervision.
• Assist with treatment planning and documentation.
