# Behavioral Health InstructorHot JobAlbuquerque - NM## Description**Summary** Under direct supervision from assigned CNM Ingenuity Director or Manager, develops and presents short courses and/or workshops, providing personal and/or professional education. Specifically performs one or more of the following: Teaches short-term courses and workshops; creates curriculum; establishes and assesses student performance objectives; determines student grades and keeps accurate records. Mix of theoretical and practical sessions will be required to demonstrate student level of knowledge and understanding. A successful candidate will have experience and knowledge in multiple areas of behavioral heath to support our various non-credit programs in this area. Please address your educational and industry experience and skills in the areas listed in the minimums and preferences.**Instruction Pay Rate: $60/ hr****Preparatory Pay Rate: $24/hr****Developmental Pay Rate: $54/hr**## Qualifications**Essential Knowledge and Skills*** Demonstrated knowledge of behavioral health theory and practice in the community* Demonstrated teaching or training skills.* Effective written and communication skills.* Exceptional customer service abilities.* Ability to adjust and adapt curriculum and teaching styles to meet the needs of various stakeholders and students.* Additional assignments based on skills may become available.* Other duties as assigned.**Minimums*** Four years of experience in a behavioral health setting* OR Bachelor's Degree in Behavioral Health, Social Work, Counseling or related field (may count as four years of experience)* AND One (1) year of related teaching or training experience.**Preferences*** Master’s degree in Behavioral Health, Social Work, Counseling or related field* Experience with development of curriculum or training materials* Familiarity with current trends and best practices in addiction recovery* Certification in Crisis Prevention and Intervention* Experience with trauma-informed approaches* Familiarity with community resources and social service programs**Conditions of Employment**This position requires a Criminal Background Check.
