We are hiring for:

Behavioral Health Facility Based Crisis Nurse Manager / Forsyth County

Type: Regular

The Team Leader (RN) (Detox/Facility Based Crisis) provides clinical supervision to all staff, both clinical and non-clinical. Uses state guidelines to ensure quality of service and consumer rights. Collaborates with the Director to manage the program 24/7. Responsible for planning, organizing, developing, and directing the nursing department at the Detox/Facility Based Crisis Center in accordance with applicable standards and regulations. Provides clinical leadership to maintain high-quality standards.

Education, Licensure, and Experience:

  • AA, BS, MSN preferred.
  • Five years’ experience working with addicted and mentally ill consumers.
  • At least three years supervisory experience.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Participate in recruitment and selection of nursing personnel.
  • Provide clinical oversight to staff daily.
  • Train employees to meet program needs and maintain competency.
  • Manage the facility within budgetary parameters.
  • Oversee daily facility operations, including planning, organizing, and directing activities.
  • Develop staffing schedules and submit for approval.
  • Provide professional nursing care, adhering to standards of care.

Supervisory Requirements:

  • Supervise more than 2 employees.
  • Handle interviewing, hiring, training, performance appraisal, and discipline.
  • Reliable transportation and accessibility by phone required.

Required Education/Experience/Certifications/Licenses:

  • RN licensed in North Carolina.
  • Five years’ experience with Behavioral Health clients preferred.
  • MSN preferred.

Essential Qualifications/Skills:

  • Knowledge of counseling principles, community resources, and substance dependency treatment.
  • Ability to train staff and monitor budgets and program performance.
  • Emotional stability, maturity, and ability to work with diverse populations.
  • Must have more than five years of sobriety and active participation in recovery if applicable.
  • Knowledge of confidentiality laws and client rights.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Physical and mental ability to perform duties.
