Job summary

A leading behavioral health facility in Chicago is seeking part-time Teachers to provide instruction and support to patients. You will participate in educational assessments, assist with curriculum development, and create a safe classroom environment. Qualifications

• Must be able to demonstrate competency in effective teaching skills.
• Valid Illinois teaching certificate; certification in Special Education preferred.
• One year teaching experience with ED/BD children and/or adolescents preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participates in ongoing educational assessments of patients.
• Provides instruction to patients in a disciplined classroom structure.
• Assists in curriculum development and participates in patient treatment planning.
