Job summary

Abode Services, a leading nonprofit addressing homelessness in the Bay Area, seeks a Director of Behavioral Health to lead clinical teams, develop protocols, and drive quality improvement in Santa Clara County. The role emphasizes Housing First, Harm Reduction, and trauma-informed approaches.

The position offers a hybrid schedule, CA licensure, and a base salary of $139,000–$150,000 per year DOE, plus benefits and retirement contributions.

Qualifications

• Licensed for 2+ years with the CA Board of Behavioral Science as LMFT, LCSW or Psychologist.
• 3+ years supervising clinical staff.
• Minimum of 5 years overseeing programs that assist low-income individuals who have experienced homelessness.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Program Oversight: oversee clinical care and ensure adherence to evidence-based practices and quality improvement strategies.
• Supervise licensed clinical supervisors and other staff; provide training, feedback, and evaluations.
• Oversee Medi-Cal billing and site certifications; maintain policies and procedures.
