What You'll Do:

As a Crisis Specialist, you'll be the first voice of support for individuals reaching out for help. Your superpowers will include assessment and referral of crisis and calls, chats, or texts, ensuring safety, and coordinating care with finesse. You'll work closely with a wonderful team to transform challenges into opportunities for recovery and resilience!

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Way: Respond to incoming calls, texts, and chats for crisis services with a blend of compassion and expertise. Every interaction you have will be an opportunity to bring hope and positivity.
  • Screen & Triage: Use your keen insight to assess and guide crisis interventions, utilizing our risk assessment tool to ensure safety and effective resolutions.
  • Empower Through Education: Share valuable mental health education and community resources, helping individuals navigate their path to recovery.
  • Team Player: Collaborate in training, meetings, and clinical oversight, enhancing your skills and knowledge while contributing to a supportive environment.
  • Document Your Impact: Ensure all interactions are documented accurately in our EHR, maintaining our commitment to quality and efficiency.
  • Innovate & Engage: Stay on top of the latest practices in healthcare, behavioral health, and crisis interventions, sharing your knowledge and engaging with clients meaningfully.

What We're Looking For:

Education & Experience:

  • Minimum of a GED/High School diploma and four years of full-time behavioral health work experience.
  • Alternatively, a combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Experience as a behavioral health professional, crisis intervention, and contact center experience preferred.

Work Location: Remote - Applicants must live in Colorado

Pay Range: $22 - $26 USD

Working Conditions:

While performing the job duties in the office or at a home office, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands; they must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Employees must maintain a stable and secure private home internet with a minimum of 50Mbps download and 5Mbps upload.
