Job summary

Integrated Services for Behavioral Health in Southeast, OH is seeking a Credentialing Specialist to manage provider credentialing and related billing tasks. The role focuses on Medicaid credentialing with potential Medicare and private payer coordination.

You will maintain provider files, manage CAQH/PECOS/NPPES, enrollments, and ensure timely credentialing/re-credentialing. Strong attention to detail and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's preferred.
• 1 year credentialing experience in Ohio Behavioral Health Medicaid required.
• 3 years of experience with an electronic health record system to process claims preferred.
• Strong knowledge of community service systems and EHRs.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain provider files for credentialing applications and payer portals.
• Manage CAQH, PECOS, NPPES, and CMS databases to keep portals active.
• Coordinate and monitor credentialing and re-credentialing processes with insurers.
• Enroll/terminate providers with government and commercial payers.
• Ensure provider information is current and accurate for credentialing.
