Job summary

BrightView Health seeks a dedicated Counselor to support recovery journeys within our treatment team. You will facilitate group therapy, conduct intake assessments, provide crisis de-escalation, and coordinate care with a multidisciplinary onsite team.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year in a relevant field, state-licensed or eligible (CSAC-S), a Bachelor’s degree preferred, and strong communication, empathy, and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• CLINICAL CARE:
  
  
  
  • Plan and conduct group therapy sessions and patient intake assessments based on clinic needs and best-practice guidelines.
  
  
  • Provide crisis and de-escalation techniques.
  
  
  
  


• TREATMENT PLANNING AND PROGRESS MONITORING:
  
  
  
  • Assist with treatment planning.
  
  
  • Review progress towards treatment plan goals.
  
  
  
  


• COORDINATION AND COMMUNICATION:
  
  
  
  • Coordinate patient care with the onsite multidisciplinary team.
  
  
  • Attend required meetings, including on-site staff meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings.
  
  
  
  


• DOCUMENTATION AND COMPLIANCE:
  
  
  
  • Timely and comprehensively document all necessary treatment data into the electronic patient health record.
  
  
  • Follow adherence to all necessary regulatory and company compliance requirements.

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS

• REQUIRED: Active entry-level clinical certification or licensure consistent with state-level regulatory requirements at minimum e.g.CSAC-S
