Job summary

Alexander Youth Network seeks a Behavioral Health Counselor for our Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility in Charlotte, NC. You will provide comprehensive care, coordinate direct care activities for clients in residential and group home settings, and support treatment planning while upholding the NMT model and ensuring safety and well-maintained facilities.

• Four years of experience in Mental Health is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor direct care activities for clients in residential and group home settings.
• Ensure adherence to the NMT model for consistent and appropriate therapeutic activities, clinical interventions, staffing, and treatment planning.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients and ensure residential facilities are well-maintained.

What You'll Do

As a Behavioral Health Counselor in our Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF), you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive care and support to our clients. Your main responsibilities will include coordinating and monitoring various direct care activities for clients in residential and group home settings, ensuring adherence to the NMT model for consistent and appropriate therapeutic activities, clinical interventions, staffing, and treatment planning. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our clients and ensuring the residential facilities are well‑maintained.
