A state agency in Georgia is seeking a Behavioral Health Counselor to provide counseling services aimed at behavior modification and mental health improvement. This role involves working closely with clients in individual and group settings to ensure optimal recovery and independence, while maintaining confidentiality and evaluating treatment progress. Ideal candidates will hold a relevant Master's or Bachelor's degree with experience in mental health counseling.
Master's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university; or Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university and two (2) years of job-related experience; or one (1) year experience at the lower-level Behavioral Health Councelor 1, Licensed (HCP220).
NOTE: All positions require applicable licensure or certification.
