DeCoach Recovery Centre in Hamilton, OH is seeking a Behavioral Health Counselor (LPC or LSW required) to join a team-focused, client-centered program. The role involves conducting assessments, developing personalized treatment plans, and delivering individual and group therapy to a diverse client base.

You will collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and case managers to create well-rounded care.

Qualifications

• Must have degree in counseling, social work, chemical dependency, or closely related field.
• Current Ohio license or certification in counseling or comparable discipline (LPC, LPCC, LSW, LISW, LCDC II/III, or LICDC).
• Excellent written and spoken communication with ability to earn trust quickly.
• Collaborative style and comfort working with multiple disciplines.
• Self-direction with good judgment to ask for guidance when needed.
• Solid organizational habits for managing a caseload and meeting deadlines.
• Composure and sound ethics in a busy setting where priorities shift.

Responsabilités

• Complete client assessments and build personalized treatment plans grounded in evidence-based methods.
• Lead individual and group therapy sessions prioritizing client goals.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and case managers to shape well-rounded care.
• Provide crisis de-escalation and connect clients to resources to ensure safety.
• Maintain thorough progress notes and treatment plans meeting professional standards.
• Participate in team huddles, case reviews, and clinical supervision.
• Provide respectful, culturally aware care to clients from diverse backgrounds.
