Job description

Job Summary:

Under supervision, schedules consumers for testing, assembles test materials, and administers tests. Develops and implements behavior management and/or skills acquisition plans.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
  1. Assists with administration and scoring of tests.
  2. Develops and implements behavior management plans as required by regulatory agencies.
  3. Evaluates clients' physical or mental condition based on review of client information.
  4. Maintains confidentiality of records relating to client's treatment.
  5. Monitors, evaluates, and records client progress according to measurable goals in the treatment and care plan.
  6. Prepares and maintains all required treatment records and reports.
  7. Provides training to staff in implementing behavior modification techniques.
  8. Trains staff to collect information about clients through interviews, observation, and tests.
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in counseling or a related field from an accredited college or university, or certification as an addiction counselor from the Georgia Addiction Counselors Association (GACA) or an equivalent certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

Additional qualifications may be added by the agency.
