Job summary

Trios Health is seeking a dedicated professional to provide peer support for individuals with substance use disorders and help coordinate services for those experiencing an overdose crisis in the emergency department.

Role includes outreach to homeless individuals with opioid addiction, connecting clients with health insurance and SUD treatment, and collaborating with community providers while pursuing housing assistance. This position emphasizes recovery and community integration.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent, or combination of education and experience required for the job.
  • Experience: 1+ years; Self-identify as a recipient or survivor of mental health services, well-grounded in recovery for at least one (1) year.
  • Certifications: BCLS upon completion of hospital orientation; Certified Washington State Peer Counselor within 12 months of employment in position.
  • Licenses: Must apply for a Washington State Agency Affiliate Counselor Registration within 30 days of hire date.
